The Center for Neurological Disorders is committed to providing the newest and most progressive treatment for individuals suffering from pain, movement disorders or both. In addition to its comprehensive neuropsychological and psychological services, the Center has anesthesiologists on-staff to provide services for relief of chronic pain for patients who have not responded to standard treatment in the expected length of time. Early treatment of injury related to acute pain assures the earliest possible relief, rehabilitation, and return to normal activities of daily living.
The treatments available, while more involved than intravenous or intramuscular injections, are more effective. They are often offered to patients who are not getting pain relief with high doses of drugs given orally or through other injection routes. The Center provides:
