the Center for Neurological Disorders
George Cravens founded the
Center for Neurological Disorders because he saw a need for
neurology specialists to be brought together to support primary
care physicians. He is a neurosurgeon because he always has
been drawn to the challenges associated with trauma care, and
because “every second can literally make a difference in life or death.” Cravens
was the first physician in the area to use microneurosurgical techniques
and the operating microscope during neurosurgical procedures.

Don’t throw water on benefits of aquatic rehabilitation
Aquatic exercise is arguably the
best form of exercise. The irony is that the rehabilitation field
appears to be behind the times in utilizing aquatics and has not
capitalized on its benefits. There are so many things that can be
done in the water that cannot be done on land.
