Gregory A. Ward, M.D., is highly published in the field of neurological surgery with publications, presentations and abstracts to his credit. Prior to joining the Center for Neurological Disorders in 1996, he completed an internship in general surgery at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois and subsequent neurosurgical training at Loyola University Medical Center. He received a fellowship in Peripheral Nerve Injury at Louisiana State University, New
Orleans.
Dr. Ward is board certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery. He is licensed in the states of Illinois and Texas. His professional associations
include Tarrant County Medical Society, Texas Medical Association and the Texas Medical Foundation. Dr. Ward is a
member of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons and a candidate member of the American Association of Neurological
Surgeons. He is Chairman of the Division of
Surgery at Plaza Medical Center.
Dr. Ward earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He received his bachelor's of science degree with honors from Baylor
University.
