In private
practice for more than 17 years, Dr. Gregory Smith has been in
Neurosurgery for 11 of those years and a board certified surgeon for
nine years.
Dr. Smith graduated from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine
and completed his internship and residency at Doctors Hospital in
Columbus, Ohio. He is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of
Surgery in Neurosurgery.
Dr. Smith's teaching career includes supervision and teaching of
third and fourth year medical students in outpatient surgery clinics
and area hospitals
with inpatient care at Surgery Core Clinical
Clerkship of the University of North Texas Health Science Center.
Other positions held by Dr. smith include: Lecturer and Clinical
Instructor for Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine; Lecture
Series Coordinator and Instructor for Surgery Course for
Neurosurgery at University of North Texas Health Science Center;
Clinical Instructor of Neurosurgery, Eastern Virginia Medical
School, Norfolk, Virginia and Clinical Associate Professor
University of Ohio College of Osteopathic Medicine.
