Peter Leonard, M.D. is an anesthesiologist associated with the Center for Neurological Disorders. He has been in private practice in Fort Worth for many years and specializes in cardiovascular and neurosurgical anesthesia, as well as pain management.

Dr. Leonard is a Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology and a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the Texas Medical Association.

Dr. Leonard graduated first in his department and magna cum laude from Vanderbilt University, where he received a Bachelor of Engineering degree in System Engineering. He continued at Vanderbilt and earned a Master of Science degree in Computer Science before enrolling in medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School where he was awarded the degree of Doctor of Medicine. Subsequently, he completed his internship in general surgery at Parkland Memorial Hospital and his residency in anesthesiology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.
